Family Game Night

            Family Game Night is a videogame where you are playing the role of the dice determining the outcome of the rolls. Your goal is to keep all family members happy as they are playing a boardgame. Each of them have special conditions that effect their happines level, shown by the bar next to their head. Once someone runs out of happines, he leaves and then the game will be over. If someone crosses the finish line before that, you won.

Controls:

            The game is controlled by your mouse. Each time you have a short window to select the outcome of the roll (between 1 to 6), then the given family member’s figure moves accordingly.

The rule of the boardgame:

            Starting with Aron, and then progressing clockwise, each player roll the dice (ad. choose between 1 to 6) then takes steps equal to the number rolled. When someone ends their turn on a tile its effect activates (shown bellow). When someone goes through the finish line (black and white tile) he wins and the game will be over.

            Green tile – move the piece three steps foward

            Red tile – move the piece five step backward

            Blue tile – Swap your piece with the closest one

            Yellow tile – Double your dice’s value

            White tile – Has no effect

The preferences of the different family members:

Aron:

            Loves to takeover others, roll 6 and step on green tiles.

            But hates to roll 1 or step on blue tiles.

Lili:

            Loves when someone, due to a tiles effect goes backwards. Also she likes to roll 6 or step on yellow tile.

            But hates to roll 5 or step on green tile.

Grandpa:

            Loves to step onto corners, roll 1 or step on blue tile.

            But hates to roll 4 or step on red tile

Puppy:

            Loves to step onto a tile that already has a player standing on. Also he likes to roll 4 or step to red tile.

            But hates to roll 2 or step on yellow tile.
